Before and after an earthquake
Ready Together helps your circle when an earthquake is reported near a saved area and on calm days, when everyone can practice the plan together.
If an earthquake is reported near an area your circle saved, each person can answer “I’m okay” or “I need help.” Anyone who has not answered stays visible as “No response.” Seismic observations must match a reviewed, relevant earthquake before they can open a check-in.

It starts at home
During the September 19 earthquake drill, three beta families from our Sismos México community completed a practice with Ready Together. Their experience is part of what we are learning as we build.
Read what we learnedThe backend calculates these totals from retained app records dated August 1, 2026 onward. This page checks for updates about every five minutes while visible and online. The timestamp shows when the backend received the source data, not when you opened the page. On connection failure we keep the last available snapshot. These are not counts of distinct families; beta, team testing, and other activity have not been separated.
A shared drill has a completed report with at least two participating profiles, including anonymous participant counts retained after privacy-related removal. A check-in response is the latest saved answer for one profile, circle, and earthquake; changing an answer does not add another response. Deleted or expired records may be absent.
The September 19 family practice is a separate, team-reported milestone. These early results show participation, not a measured improvement in emergency outcomes. We want to learn whether families repeat the practice and act on what they learn.

Ready Together verifies a reviewed earthquake and its relevance to your circle before opening a private check-in and inviting members to respond. Station observations alone never trigger a family notification. This operates within enabled countries and areas. Check-ins and essential earthquake information stay free.
Detector information is preliminary and may be confirmed, corrected, or withdrawn. Ready Together does not replace official alerts or instructions, call emergency services, or save your exact location. If someone has not answered, we do not know how they are.
