Privacy at Ready Together

Your circle is private by design.

This notice explains what Ready Together processes, why it is needed, and the choices you have. The product does not sell personal data, follow anyone in real time, or use private-circle information for advertising.

Who is responsible

Oscar Emilio Pérez Martínez, based in the State of Mexico, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this notice. Privacy requests can be sent to soporte@sismos-mexico.com.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the Ready Together website, its private invitation handoff, and the Ready Together mobile application for Android and iPhone. Ready Together is not an earthquake alert, early-warning, or emergency-response service.

Information we process

Website

The website does not add advertising or product-analytics cookies. Its hosting and security infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, browser, device, requested page, date, and time to deliver and protect the site.

Identity and devices

The app may process an anonymous authentication identifier, an internal person identifier, display name, installation identifier, platform, last connection time, and a notification destination when notifications are enabled. It does not require an email address or phone number for its initial private-circle identity.

Private-circle activity

The service may process a circle name, country and broad area, membership and organizer role, approximate or descriptive meeting point, invitation status, earthquake-event reference, check-in response, practice readiness, assigned role, completed actions, timestamps, revisions, and the collective practice report.

Optional diagnostics and support

Explicitly configured testing builds may send limited crash, device, operating-system, installation, and closed-enum invitation-funnel information to Firebase. Collection is disabled by default. Ready Together does not deliberately attach names, circles, invitations, locations, check-ins, or reports to diagnostics.

Optional place search

If you choose Google Places autocomplete, Google receives the search text, country filter, session information, and selected place details needed to return suggestions. Ready Together requests no device-location permission or coordinates for this feature. The selected description remains editable before it is saved.

Invitation QR scanner

Camera access is requested only after you choose to scan a private invitation. Camera frames and decoded-value history are not retained after the scan ends. You can always use an invitation link instead.

A response such as “I need help” can be sensitive in context. Ready Together treats it as private circle information and does not ask for a diagnosis, medical record, or explanation.

Why we process it

  • Authenticate one installation and authorize private-circle access.
  • Create and manage circles, memberships, temporary invitations, and selected broad areas.
  • Show relevant earthquake context and synchronize check-ins and shared practices.
  • Deliver private operational notifications that a person enables.
  • Protect the service, prevent duplicate or unauthorized actions, and diagnose failures in approved testing builds.
  • Answer support, privacy, and rights requests.

Ready Together does not use private-circle data for advertising, telemarketing, commercial profiling, or sale to data brokers.

What Ready Together does not ask for

  • No continuous or public live-location tracking.
  • No address-book or phone-contact upload.
  • No upload of personal photos, videos, or SMS messages.
  • No medical diagnoses, medication records, financial details, or government identification requested by the product.
  • No advertising identifiers or personalized advertising.

Service providers and transfers

Information is shared only when needed to operate the service, comply with law, or protect rights and security. Current technical providers include Google Firebase for authentication, private-service storage, notifications, and explicitly enabled QA diagnostics; Google Places when you choose optional place search; and Cloudflare for website delivery and security. These providers may process information outside Mexico under their own infrastructure and contractual safeguards.

Members of the same private circle can see the display names, membership facts, responses, practice progress, and collective reports needed for that circle. Ready Together does not make this information public.

How long information is kept

Ready Together keeps information only while it is needed for the purposes above, the circle remains active, a deletion request is being completed, or a legal obligation applies. New invitation access expires one hour after issue; the server keeps only a non-reversible digest rather than the raw invitation secret. Completed practice reports are available for up to 30 days. Configured Firebase crash reports follow Firebase retention controls. Other private-circle records are removed or blocked when they are no longer necessary or when a valid deletion request is completed, subject to legal and security requirements.

Your choices and ARCO rights

You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, cancellation when it is no longer needed, or opposition to specific processing. These are the ARCO rights. You may also ask to limit use or disclosure, or revoke consent where consent is the applicable basis.

Send your request to soporte@sismos-mexico.com with your name, a way to receive the response, a clear description of the data and right involved, and information that helps us locate the record. We may request only the additional information reasonably needed to verify identity and prevent disclosure to another person. We will communicate our determination within 20 days and, when appropriate, carry it out within the following 15 days, subject to the extensions and exceptions allowed by applicable law.

You can disable notifications in the operating-system settings. Removing the app may remove app-local information, but does not by itself delete authorized server records; use the privacy email for a deletion request.

Security and private invitations

Ready Together uses administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and risk. Mobile clients use encrypted connections and do not access the private database directly. Invitation links are temporary, revocable, single-use for admission, and their secret is not written to website logs, analytics, or server storage as recoverable text. No system is risk-free; if a security incident significantly affects your rights, we will notify you through an available contact or an appropriate in-product channel.

Changes to this notice

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date and, when appropriate, communicated in the app before new processing begins. A new purpose that requires consent will not be treated as authorized merely because this page changed.
